Accessibility

Accessibility analysis measures how easily people can reach essential destinations (e.g. parks, schools, healthcare facilities, commercial centres) within a city. By mapping where these services are relative to where people live, we can identify gaps in coverage and disparities across neighbourhoods.

The first lesson is a QGIS task: you will measure green space coverage and proximity across Madrid’s neighbourhoods. The second uses Python and cityseer to compute network-based accessibilities for a range of amenity types, building on the methods introduced in Network Analysis.
